Varying inductions is a good habit in my estimation. Once people know exactly what is going to happen they tend to lose interest--at least i do. I guess i can't speak for what works for others. In general i can't listen to recordings over and over again, or the same type of induction so many times in a row because i get impatient knowing what is coming next. Keeping it fresh and unexpected makes me happy. :)
Progressive relaxation is one that I can't do too often. It works, but it's so predictable I get bored moving from one body part to the next. Confusion inductions are nice because... they're confusing... lol. Never know where it's going. Regardless, variety is the spice of life.
