Shelle Rivers, Vampiress

With primiarily vanilla interests in hypnosis, I tend to tread carefully around the subject. That said, my curiousity obviously brought me to this site, and to occasional surprises. I have long looked for the "real" experience, as opposed to fantasy, although I have been known to reread pages in a novel or rerun video scenes involving hypnosis and mental manipulation. Honestly, Shelle's "Vampiress" was not really on my radar. I tend to limit my listening to focus and build the familiarity that seems to help my experience, but my curiosity requires at least a little sampling! Having heard Shelle's samples and "Black Magic Woman" on Descent, I guess the subject of the file didn't matter much once Her voice started playing. Her intimate approach creates an easy familiarity right from the start. As she brings to mind the childhood fear of the dark that only someone close to me would know, Her playful and lethally sweet voice becomes strangely (supernaturally?) comforting even as her teasing tone makes the fear more real and present. Still, Shelle's voice is far more adorable than terrifying, and just listening to Her tends to conjure warm fuzzy feelings rather than images of mystical monsters. Now the problem... The first time I listened to this file, I seem to have faded out rather early with very limited recall. Oddly, I was back again and listening as the file ended. So far, only a couple of files (ever!) have created this effect on me. Of course I had to try it again... and again... but with similar results. I considered starting it in the middle to hear what I missed, but honestly I don't want to spoil the rare effect for myself. Because I realize new elements each time it plays, and I will not tire of it soon. oh... and I have a growing appreciation for beautiful vampires... and for Princess Shelle!
