About Us
The story behind "About Us" is actually a rare and intimate love story. I'll share the Reader's Digest version and keep it short and brief, but long enough so you get an idea of who we are.
Inraptured's History:
So basically, the site was created in 1998 under the title "Enraptured." It was essentially a femdom story site only with some photo manips and that was the bulk of it. At the time there were very few hypnodommes within the industry so the site was mainly made by fans and fan contributions only. It lasted until around 2000/2001 cause Maurice found religion and felt he needed to take a break from erotic hpnosis.
After a 5 year hiatus, Maurice re-created the site under the name "Inraptured" in 2005 cause he said he "missed erotic hypnosis too much" and "needed an outlet" to help with his obsession to the femdom hypnosis fetish and felt it would be therapeutic. He especially missed the fans and talking to other people who also enjoyed erotic hypnosis. He says that back then, it was a close, tight-knit community and everyone made their own stuff and everyone contributed.
There weren't many hypnodommes on the site, but the ones that were - were well loved by the community. People begin to make requests that more hypnotists join the site to make it more versatile and varied. At the time, Maurice had a secret crush on me because lots of members would email him and give lots of compliments on my work. Maurice thought that if he could get me to join the site, more people would interact on the forums. June 2006, he emailed me and asked if I would become a member of the site (it was a very sweet and humble letter - he treated me like a total celebrity). I joined that day and from that day forward, the two of us began an email relationship.
When I joined Inraptured, it had about 4,000 members. Today it has alomst 15,000 (and counting). It truly is remarkable what maurice has created and it's such a pleasure to see how much this site has grown since its conception. If you compare the 1998 site to the 2009 site... the difference is as clear as night and day. It's like comparing the old and new versions of the John Madden video game.
Inraptured: Through the Years
How We Met:
After about a year of email writing, phone calls, IM messages, and every possible method of online contact... we decided to meet in person. It was, essentially, love at first sight. He was shaking like a leaf at the airport and fainted on a bench after looking at me. I began to hypnotize him in baggage claim to relax and soothe him and after about a half an hour, he composed himself. I put a collar around his neck and walked him with a leash (with lots of eyes watching us) and drove us home. The first day we met, we created a magical "love spell" with incense, herbs, spices, DNA, and a vow promising to tie us together forever. We spent four days together - and I put him through what I refer to as "Brainwashing Hell Week" where I wore his ass down with every possible mind control method I knew. I caged him, flogged him, weakened him, and removed all his boundaries. It was far more intense than he ever imagined. When it was time to send him back home, we both knew we'd see each other again. To make a long story short, after about a month, we moved in together.
Some time within 2007, we both decided (after a muscle testing game that I won, hehe) that it would be benificial to run Inraptured as a team effort between the two of us. With maurice's coding skills and my connections and prescence, we both felt we could make Inraptured more successful together. Within 24 hours, maurice put the domain and hosting in my name and we both have been running Inraptured ever since.
In November 2008, maurice proposed to me with a teddy bear that had his voice recorded within it asking me to marry him. He had a male server deliver it to me while we ate fondue at the Melting Pot. Without hesitation, I said yes.
In 2009, we got married at home with close friends who celebrated our union by throwing a pajama party... I hypnotized him on our wedding night yadda yadda yadda now I'm pregnant.
